Mantua Nangala at Art Basel Hong Kong

Papunya Tula Artists is delighted to partner with STATION at Art Basel Hong Kong in March 2025 with a dual presentation of works by Mantua Nangala and Zac Langdon-Pole.

Mantua Nangala is a Pintupi elder hailing from a long line of successful Papunya Tula artists. Her works often use a series of fine dots to depict the Gibson Desert, Nangala's homeland and one of the most remote Indigenous communities in Australia.

Zac Langdon-Pole’s practice is situated across varying magnitudes of time. His work contests the historical accounts and myths attributed to the origins of personal and cultural objects by subjecting them to alchemic, human and natural processes. In 2018 he was awarded the Art Basel BMW Art Journey Prize which saw him travel the globe. Currently, he is an exhibiting artist within the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial at QAGOMA.

The 2025 edition of Art Basel Hong Kong will take place from 28 - 30 March at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

The fair features premier galleries from Asia and beyond. It provides an in-depth overview of Asia-Pacific's astonishing diversity, as well as global artistic perspectives through Modern and contemporary works.
