Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri Journeys to the USA

Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri and Matthew West Tjupurrula, recently returned from a ground breaking trip to the USA. Travelling to events in both New York City and Miami Florida.

In New York City, Tjapaltjarri had his first solo exhibition in the United States, when MAPARNTJARRA opened at Salon 94, . The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal both wrote articles. Click the links below to view them:

At the Perez Art Museum in Miami, FL, Warlimpirrnga Tjapaltjarri attended the open of No Boundaries, which draws upon the collection of Debra and Dennis Scholl. He is the only living artist included in this exhibition, that is currently touring a number of museums throughout the United States.
